Given the push is to install filters for removal of the radium, has any thought been given to the fact as the filters "fill up" the waste will have to be treated as radioactive waste? Transportation and disposal of the used filter materials will be EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. This will be an constantly rising cost to use any filter media as treatment. Seems makes more sense to cap Well #9, abandon that area and seek a better area to drill a new well.
