Claiming a Spot to Watch the Parade:
  • Claiming areas for the purpose of obtaining a viewing location for the Fourth of July Parade may not occur prior to 5 PM on July 3.
  • It is important that no materials used to reserve public areas block or interfere with pedestrian access or vehicular traffic prior to 6 AM on July 4th. Any items placed prior to that time will be removed.
  • The use of tent or gazebo stakes is prohibited at all times and the placement of tarps and blankets on grass in parks and on public rights of way is prohibited prior to the occupancy of the area during the event.
  • Items placed on public property are left at the owner’s risk and do not create a guarantee that the “claimed” area will remain available to the person or persons who claimed the area.
  • When claiming an area of sidewalk non-defacing material must be used. Any adhesive material, including adhesive tape, is prohibited for use in reserving space for parade viewing. This includes, but is not limited to the use of tape or other adhesives on trees, poles, and signs. All materials used to designate “claimed” areas must be removed by 3 PM on July 4th.

We strongly discourage the use of canopies.  In order to reduce the risk of damage to our irrigation system, we do not allow tarps or canopies to be staked into the ground.  Leaving canopies or tarps on the grass overnight causes damage and is therefore, not allowed.
Please be mindful of private property.
Canopies that are in Limbach Park will be taken down to set up the beer garden and concert venue.

Food and beverages:

A variety of food vendors will be available in the street fair and in Limbach Park.  Some of the Downtown restaurants will be open as well.  Coolers and non-alcoholic beverages may be brought to the parade and Limbach Park, however onsite cooking is not permitted and only alcohol purchased in Limbach Park may be consumed inside the beer garden boundaries.

Due to the crowds and heat, we encourage you to leave your pets at home.
