[ARCHIVED] Monument PD Seeks Information on Bank Robbery

Monument Police Department is seeking information on the 2/2/21 Bank Robbery at First Bank.  Please contact Sergeant Greg Melikian at 719-433-2154, gmelikian@tomgov.org or Detective Joshua Marks at 719-400-9895, jmarks@tomgov.org with any information. 

On 02/02/2021 at approximately 2:21 pm, a Bank Robbery occurred at First Bank, 1010 W, Baptist Rd, Monument, CO 80132. Two subjects entered the bank, slipped notes to two different bank tellers, demanding money. The subjects did not present any weapons or threaten the tellers. The subjects got the money, exited the bank, walked to a vehicle in the parking lot, and left the area. The vehicle did not have a front license plate.

Closed Circuit Television system footage was obtained from the interior and exterior of the bank, as well as other businesses in the area. Suspects appear to be Caucasian or Hispanic adult males, 20-30 years of age, approximately 5’08’ to 5’10” tall, wearing neck gaiters and gloves. One suspect was wearing a black, knit winter hat, a grey hooded sweatshirt with a red undershirt and light-colored pants. The other was wearing a light grey hooded sweatshirt with dark sleeves and dark pants. The possible suspect vehicle is a light grey or light silver 2010 Toyota Avalon.
